Your money can be a pain in your butt
Many people suffer from pain in the buttocks when sitting or laying on their backsides. For most of these folks it has become chronic pain that they’ve just learned to deal with. They shift in their seats, stand instead of sit when possible and toss and turn during sleep. Often what’s happening is that the sciatic nerve that runs through the buttocks and hamstrings becomes entrapped causing the intensely painful condition known as sciatica.
In my experience as a massage therapist, many more men experience this type of pain compared to women. One major cause could be based on how they carry their money. Seriously. Men (or women, so as not to discriminate) who carry their wallets in their back pockets are far more likely to suffer from this condition. In fact, I’ve been able to “cure” a few clients of thier painful nerve entrapment by simply having them relocate their wallets to their front pant or jacket pockets. This simple step helps bring their hips back into alignment and aleviates the compression of this large nerve, thus easing low back, buttock and leg pain. I now make sure to ask my clients if they carry wallets in their back pockets when they complain about this type of pain. Of course massage still helps and is quite soothing, but once they’ve made their money adjustment they rarely come back for same issue.
So, if you happen to feel an aching pain in the butt, low back and hamstring consider investing in a money clip and making your wallet a thing of the past.

Yep, front-pocket wallets or money clips are the way to go. You’ll also be a lot less likely to be pick-pocketed.
