I’d like to think that the recent report that a midday snooze reduces your risk of heart disease was innate knowledge I’ve had since birth. I have always been a fan of naps even when they were required of me when I was in preschool. I have privately been lobbying for siestas since I began working full time after college. Most times my campaign was limited to venting to coworkers about how our productivity would increase after a 2 PM nap. So I was happy, yet not surprised, to read the latest study that says midday naps can reduce risks of heart attacks and related problems by as much as 37 percent. Now if we could just get a law passed…
