I have found that most people don't have much experience with creating the future. One of the keys I've found is to step out into the future and experience it fully and completely in all five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Color, 3-D, moving (not still) images. One of the senses makes it "real". I've also found that the more often you revisit that compelling future and make it more detailed and "real" the more quickly it comes to you.
