<description>Additional tips on blogging from bed on your lap top.
First , get a bed wedge. That is triangle foam about as long as your spine and wide as your shoulders, to position you at a 30-45 degre angle.
Second, make a lap top cooler. The memory and prossessor heat up the botom of the laptop and you do nt want to block the cooling with blankets and pillows. Find a coregated mailer box about the size of your laptop and punch pencil holes all around the sides and botom. Determine where th hot spots and vent holes are on the botom of the laptop and cut these out of the top of the box. If it has legs in the back to prop it up make pencel holes for them with the front edge of the computer along the front edge of the box. Two large paper clips with one end straightend and inserted in the corogation hold the frontand an alastic holds it down.
Third, the neck pillow. Take a foam or fiber fill pilow out of its cover and cut a hole all the way through in the center for your head to fit in then replace the cover. Now when your are on your back the back of your hed will line up with the back of your shoulders like it should but when you turn on your side it will be thick enough on the ends of the pillow to hold your neck straight.
That is what works for me.

<description>There’s a difference between a bulging disc and a herniated disc. The disc, if you remember, is the cushion between vertebrae in your spine. A bulging disc is a disc that pushes out but doesn’t actually rupture the wall of the disc. A herniated disc is a disc that bulges toward the back of the spine and it does break through the disc wall. The outside wall of the disc is called the annulus fibrosis.

The back pain you feel with a herniated disc is due to the disc pressing on a nerve. You can actually feel the pain in your legs if it’s a lower back vertebrae that presses on the nerves that runs down your legs. Most herniated discs happen in the lower spine or lower back. When the sciatica nerve is pressured by a herniated disc, the pain can be intense all the way down the leg. There are lots of things the doctor can potentially recommend you do to relieve the pain. You can do exercises to strengthen the back, take anti-inflammatory medications or get steroid injections for example.
