In our attempt to eat healthier eventually we all face the issue of organic vs. non-organic foods. Once one decides to commit to at least a partial organic diet (I personally settle between the 50-75% organic level) a more annoying challenge surfaces. For the average Americans I think one of the biggest challenges in eating organically is the convenience (or lack there of) of stocking their kitchens with organic produce and meat to make the food readily available for meals.

Well The Daily Green took some of the guess work out of the organic debate. Below is the list of different foods that they suggest should always be eaten organic to avoid the risk of high levels of pesticides, chemicals and hormones.

Tomatoes
Potatoes
Grapes
Celery
Strawberries
Apples
Peaches
Lettuce
Green peppers
Coffee
Milk
Beef

Check out the article in it’s entirety to get the full details on why they call the conventional versions of the above foods the dirty dozen.
