I am posting on becoming an early riser because it is something I strive for at least on a weekly basis. I admit that I don’t put forth much effort towards that cause (almost the opposite, I’m afraid) as I am a definite, self-admitted night owl. Still, I am quite envious of those who wake effortlessly in the 5 AM hour and have accomplished more by 10 AM than I think I ever have. Of course this may be the case of the grass appearing greener on the other side since I do more after 11 PM than those early risers could ever imagine. I do believe, however, that there is some truth to aligning your sleep pattern with the natural light patterns as seems most natural for humans overall. I posted on this in the past.
