Breathe right
It’s important to remember that there is a definite correlation between our breath’s patterns and what it means to the body. For instance, when we’re stressed, our breathing patterns will show it by increasing and putting the body in the fight or flight mode. The best thing we can do during these stressful times is to focus on inhaling and exhaling air slowly. This helps us relax, creates a more tranquil environment for the body, slows down our heart rates and blood pressure. Just as quickly as we became filled with anxiety and ready to run or attack, we can create the more calm relaxed state by thinking “letting go” as we slow our breathing.
These steps can be practiced until perfected, especially for those prone to anxiety, panic and high stress. In time and with practice, none of us will be sweating the small stuff.

Fault Suffering wrote,
I have had trouble breathing in stressful situations for years. In addition, I have suffered from anxiety attacks that left me hyperventilating for over a week at a time. I have since learned that correct breathing can prevent these attacks from coming on. Thank you for this very interesting post.
