Age can be just a number
Let’s face it. Once we leave our mid-twenties, we all wouldn’t mind slowing the hands of time to look a little younger. Well, short of finding and jumping into a fountain of youth, taking care of our health is the best way to shed years off of our “real age”.
Writers Andreas von Bubnoff and Joanna Lloyd, of Prevention magazine, developed a well-researched, comprehensive list of ways to take 10 years off our age and look and feel better while we do it. The entire article was found at MSN Health and Fitness, but below are their top seven ways for keeping some pep in your step and staying young as you age:
Take brisk walks
Keep your waist trim
Eat a wide variety of fruits and vegetables
Strength-train a few times a week
Get enough sleep (most people need 7 or 8 hours nightly)
Manage your stress
Keep a positive outlook
